Congratulations to the ODFC Cesena ’05 girls as they will join some of the best youth clubs in the region this spring 2018 in competing in the Eastern Regional League (ERL) starting this coming February.
The ERL is part of US Youth Soccer a member organization of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) Youth Council, the governing body for soccer in the United States. US Youth Soccer is a national organization of more than 3 million registered youth soccer players between the ages of 5 and 19, more than 600,000 volunteers and administrators, and more than 300,000 dedicated coaches, most of whom also are volunteers. US Youth Soccer is made up of 55 “member” State Associations and divided into four regions, each with a Director elected to the board. The regions are “East” (Region I), “Midwest” (Region II), “South” (Region III) and “West” (Region IV).
ODFC Cesena will be competing in Region 1 which has as members the following states:
Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Eastern New York, New York West, Eastern Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania West, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia
